The Cyclocross Crusade event is coming back to the Port’s Business Park this year, but with a date change and more exciting features. This event, typically occurring in early October, is two in a series of 6 cycle races across Oregon. This year the events will fall on October 30th and 31st and will feature a costume contest in addition the race, adding to the fun of an already entertaining event to watch. Those of us local to Cascade Locks are certainly familiar with the wet conditions that come in late October, so expect to see lots of mud covered bicycles. As part of the conditions of this event, the promoters will grade and seed the spaces they utilize to ensure that the Business Park is development ready following this fun event.
